Greta Thunberg speaking before the assembled delegates at the UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice, Poland.

Greta Thunberg is joined by her father Svante to talk about her personal journey to become an internationally recognized climate change leader inspiring school strikes throughout Europe and Australia.

Greta and Svante attended the UN Climate Change Conference in Katowice, Poland, at the invitation of, and with assistance by, Scientists' Warning Network where Rob Moir volunteers as Policy and Advocacy Director. Rob presents Greta's talk to the Secretary General in a private session and Greta's speech to the assembled UN delegation.

Martin Thorslund of We Don't Have Time joins a Scientists' Warning Panel in Katowice with Greta. Martin tells of finding Greta on school strike in front of the Parliament House in Stockholm. Greta speaks on camera and the rest is history.

We Don't Have Time is a very innovative effort out of Sweden rallying grassroots support to pressure governments to act in the interests of their people to avert Climate Change.

Shed forlorn hope for positive actions. Speak truth to power together with others. Be strong, be clear, be heard.

Friday, February 15, 2019, From the Scottish Highlands to Cornwall, in more than 60 British cities and towns, thousands of school students walked out of classrooms to join a national climate change protest.

Banners were waved that paraphrased Greta Thunberg: "If you do not act as adults we will." Also: "the dinosaurs thought they had time too."

The UK Youth Climate Coalition, who helped coordinate the strikes, said that more than 10,000 people across the UK took part in the protests.

Ann Pettifor, co-author of the Green New Deal that became the resolution before the U.S. Congress, attended the strike in London with her seven-year-old grandson. Pettifor said: "We urgently need to get the adults as angry as the young people are. Wildfires, floods and destruction of the environment seems to be the only thing that stirs people and that is a very big problem."

Oladosu Adenike reports today was her twelfth #FridaysForFuture Strike in Kwail, Nigeria.  "Samson and Matthew came a distance with their bicycle to have a #ClimateStrike with me. March 15th!!!! Will be great" #ClimateStrikeNigeria

Alison Green and Rupert Read talk with Rob about a new movement of rabble-rousers speaking truth to power out of the UK, calling all to action to address Climate Change, to avert the climate crisis affecting us all, and to put off the Anthropocene extinction.

The Extinction Rebellion is an international social movement that aims to drive radical change, through nonviolent resistance, in order to combat climate breakdown and minimize the risk of ecological collapse and human extinction.

We'll call on governments to reverse inconsistent policies, enact legally binding policy measures that cut back on all luxuries, eliminate waste, and reduce carbon emissions to net zero by 2025.
