GHCA wants to express its gratitude to Improve USA , our wonderful host for our 7th anniversary event! A company deeply involved with the construction industry, whose vision will change the trajectory of plenty of businesses in Georgia ! We had over 120 attendees, celebrating GHCA 7th Anniversary in the best way possible! Connecting with their peers to generate business opportunities, community outreach and a long-lasting impact in the construction industry in Georgia.

Thank you for sharing this important milestone with us!

A few guidelines on how to communicate a particular issue such as a safety tip or important deadline:
  1. Post the issue in a place where employees will see it several times a day, e.g., a wall-mounted display in a high-traffic area.
  2. Keep it short, about 10-20 words.

  3. Keep the notice up for 4-5 days. This cadence will ensure maximum absorption by employees. Then take it down so it doesn't become clutter, obscuring new postings.
  4. If the issue is an ongoing one, post a new piece on the same subject but with a different look and feel (graphics, fonts, etc.).
While this is a simple and effective routine, many managers still have a problem doing it because it's a process that goes on forever. So I suggest looking for a workplace communications system that automates the process for you, so you can set it and forget it.
The Ebbinghaus Forgetting Curve is a real thing that we're all susceptible to. If you need to get important stuff to your employees - and who doesn't? - be sure to take it into account and communicate frequently.
