PTO PARENT PRESENTATION

Thursday, February 21

7- 8 pm in the FCC

Sarah Beal, PhD, is a developmental psychologist and researcher at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Her research is focused on adolescent experiences that shape development and social relationships in adolescence and early adulthood. Dr. Beal's presentation, "Transitions in Middle School: What to Expect from Your Developing Teen" will focus on development occurring in early adolescence, including changes to biology, cognition, and behavior, how those changes manifest in school and at-home behaviors, and some tips and tricks for managing normative challenges during this adolescent period. Please join us for this exciting presentation.

Christian Outreach Chairperson Needed

The St. Joseph Parish Christian Outreach Committee is looking for a new chairperson. This person would organize Christian Outreach projects for the parish community which include the Thanksgiving Food Drive and the Haiti Project as well as coordinating the disbursement of funds to the various charities. There already is a very dedicated committee in place who can help with these projects. We are looking for someone with great energy and new ideas.
Please contact Laura Arlinghaus if you are interested.
