The St. Thomas Evangelism Committee is trying to bring fellowship, energy and caffeine to Sunday worship. The little alcove between the sanctuary and office is being converted into a coffee bar
for your pleasure, comfort and convenience.
We plan to have coffee, tea, and cocoa-making abilities there, as well as refrigerated water and juice.
Keurig Coffee Makers, hot water, cups, add-ins, and a refrigerator will be located there for self-serve. Future plans include high-top tables to encourage conversation, elevated coffee options, and bakery items.

Friday's kick-off of the Island Farmer's Market at St Thomas was a rousing success! The stream of customers was steady, despite the water main work on Church Road. Families, individuals, drivers, walkers, bikers, and dogs visited during the 3 hours of operation. The vendors present on this opening day were Melly's Artsy Ends (Chaplain Amelia's paintings), GI Bread Brothers (Ben Fogt's sons' homemade sourdough bread), Commuunity Grown Gardens (fresh vegetables, microgreens, and crop-related products), Adobe Rose (handmade gemstone and semi-precious gemstone jewelry), MoonSugar (organic and gourmet cotton candy), Fat Grandma's Dips (dip and dry rub seasoning packets), Color Street (nail art strips) and RaftcRaft (handmade soap and sugar scrubs, art and jewelry) and a St. Thomas cold beverage stand.
Combinations of different vendors are signed up each Friday until Labor Day.

Two adorable cats are seeking a home because their seminary student owner has accepted a job overseas. The house-hunting cats are a 6-yr-old long-haired female and a 4-yr-old black-and-white short-haired male. They would prefer to be rehomed together.
Although this is a very tempting offer in itself, the owner is sweetening the deal by adding in a great-condition Mac desktop computer.
