May 2021 Drive-Thru Food Distribution

THANK YOU ALL for an incredible & massive food distribution in this month of May 2021! With your help, we distributed 24,000 pounds of food to 429 families.
Next month, our Drive-thru Food Distribution will be on Saturday, June 16th, from 10am-12noon or supplies last.
Your help in preparing food bags will be very much appreciated on Sunday, June 6th & June 13th, from 10:45am-11:45am, and also on Thursday, June 17th from 10am-12noon. We tried out the Sunday preparation and what a success it was! YOU all helped the process move so fast, it was amazing and fun!
We truly appreaciate your past assistance and on any &/or all of these future days!

Dinner from Christ
May 2021 ~ Mother's Day
THANK YOU to Fr. Fabian & Dee Anna Villalobos who cooked an Italian cuisine & served gellato for dessert for this month's delivery of 75 Dinners from Christ to Agape Houses and Ewing House on Mother's Day!
Please let the Church Office know if you would like to coordinate a particular month in the future! These Dinners from Christ are on the second Sunday of each month and 75 dinner plates are prepared & delivered directly to these three homes during this time of COVID-19. Our next day of service is Sunday, June 13th!
Thank you to all for your monetary donations to this & our other food ministry services. Please place your donation in the Sunday offerring or send your check in postal mail or you may use the Donation Online Giving on our website. Remember to "note" that your extra donation is for Outreach Food Ministry.

Christian Formation Fun & Prayer Time on Zoom!
Our Children's Ministry Director, Guelda Gutierrez along with Catechist Delfina Castillo invite all children to join in reading the Psalm and Holy Gospel each Saturday. Students also share in thanking God during the Circle of Gratitude, and having fun in the Word Search and other virtual Bible games. Our time on Zoom is very rewarding so don't miss out!

We are in our 2nd month of everyone’s safe return to Christ Church Dallas for “In-Person” Holy Eucharist on Sundays!
The next Vestry Meeting will be Monday, June 14th at 7 pm to make further decisions on our protocols.
