THE LOMBARDI SUPER BOWL TROPHY
Many of our Phoenix students and their families watched Super Bowl LIV Sunday evening. The winning Kansas City Chiefs were awarded the
Lombardi trophy named in honor of Vince Lombardi.
Coach Lombardi dominated the first two Super Bowl games as head coach of the Green Bay Packers. Lombardi's career coaching record of 105-35-6, including playoffs, gave him the best winning percentage -- .740 -- in NFL history and ESPN ranked him #1 among all sports coaches in the 20th century.

Here are some lessons on life from Lombardi's playbook that can benefit not just our students, but all of us:
Lombardi On Consistency
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all-the-time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.
~ Vince Lombardi
Lombardi On Goals
Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.
~ Vince Lombardi
Lombardi On Resourcefulness
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.
~ Vince Lombardi
Lombardi On Winning
Winning is not everything, but making the
effort to win is.
~ Vince Lombardi
