Iranian American Women Foundation (IAWF) is proud to announce partnership with the Iranians of America  

Tara Kheradpir one of IAWF mentees m ost recently has launched Iranians of America, a social media campaign dedicated to sharing the human stories and contributions of Iranian American immigrants in this country. Tara is an Investment Associate at Fundrise. Prior to joining Fundrise, she worked in Sales & Trading as a Securitized Product Sales Analyst for Nomura Securities International. While Tara has spent her career in the private sector, she has a passion for public policy and service. In 2016, she worked as an Organizing Fellow of the Hillary for America Campaign, in addition to her full-time job. Tara is a graduate of Cornell University with a dual B.A. in Government and Near Eastern Studies.


 
 
 
New York
 
Saba Vahdat, 25, serves as the Vice President of ELMO Realty Co. Inc., a New York based real estate firm that develops, owns and operates multifamily and mixed-use properties, affordable housing and transient homeless shelters throughout New York City's five boroughs. Saba Vahdat is charged with the firm's domestic expansion, and currently oversees the constructing of 2 million-square-feet of mixed income residential towers. Saba also founded Empire Advisory Group, a consulting firm based in New York that has successfully recovered property tax credits for over 400 New York property owners. Northern California

Malekeh Amini is the Founder and CEO of Ava Health Technologies, a healthcare software company dedicated to improving diagnosis and treatments in Autism, ADHD and other brain disorders. Prior to Ava Health, Malekeh was the Senior Vice President of Product & Business Development at Base Health where she provided the vision connecting new breakthroughs in medical science to the needs of healthcare organizations and consumers. A former consultant with the Boston Consulting Group and the Parthenon group, Malekeh has provided strategic, operational, and fundraising advice to healthcare and education organizations globally. Southern California

Donna is the president of SophArian Consulting and Coaching, LLC. She has built a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, streamlined finances for individuals and implemented business development strategies for a myriad of small and medium-sized businesses in the past twelve years in Southern California. Alongside her career and academic endeavors, Donna has been actively engaged in her community and contributed significantly in social causes revolving around women's empowerment and professional excellence. IAWF STUDENT DISCOUNTS

Each conference, IAWF offers generous ticket discounts for up to 30 students on a first come, first serve basis until April 1st. These special tickets are reserved for students in financial need, who cannot afford the full $200 ticket to the conference. Dr. Shohre Mehvar is a licensed Acupuncturist and the owner of Newport Wellness Group. She specializes in pain management, migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, depression, anxiety, the acupuncture "face-lift" and has created her own weight loss protocol which employs acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional supplements, diet and lifestyle changes using western and eastern medicine simultaneously.
