Artist in Residence Workshops and Performances Available Online

We are excited to have our Artists in Residence host different online events in May and June.
Every two weeks we will feature one of our four talented Artists in Residence

Join us for virtual concerts and workshops to celebrate the arts in our community and explore your creativity. We started with a live concert by local musician Mariya Stokes in April via Facebook Live and it was a great online event. We will continue with workshops to put art into practice with Penny Gunderson on May 7, Julia Rose Sutherland on May 21 and Claudia Chagoya on June 4 from 4:00-5:30 P.M.

Please email monique@womenscentrecalgary.org for registration and more information or register on our website.

Jane's Walk (From Home)

Jane's Walk is a global event of free neighbourhood walking tours held in Calgary and around the world each May inspired by urbanist and activist, Jane Jacobs. Since physical distancing measures are in place this year, Jane's Walk Calgary is hosting a virtual event.

This weekend on May 1,2 & 3, 2020, join Jane's Walk Calgary and other cities around the world for a virtual Jane's Walk weekend that you can enjoy from the safety of your home!

Visit their website on  Friday morning (May 1) to see the schedule for the weekend ahead.
