Join us on Wednesday, October 7 at 4 p.m. as Dean Sharon Walker, PhD, presents her State of the College address. Online registration is required.

Academic Center for Engineers Now Open
 
The Academic Center for Engineers (ACE) is up and running for the fall term, offering tutoring and academic support to students. Please see the ACE website for details on courses supported, how to make an appointment and more. This year, ACE is offering a new service for first-year students, providing guidance on how to prepare for winter term scheduling. Watch for word via the Advising for Engineers (A4E) portal in BBLearn for more information.
 
Call for Updates
 
The Dean’s Student Leadership Council will next meet on Monday, October 5. Subcommittees should meet beforehand to elect a chair or co-chairs and develop a list of priorities, projects and suggested events to present at the meeting.

Applications for college funding support for student organizations are being reviewed. Decisions will be made and relayed in the next few weeks.

Entrepreneurship Competitions Now Open
 
The Close School of Entrepreneurship offers a range of co-curricular programs to complement the academic experience of entrepreneurs at Drexel University. These funding opportunities and competitions reinforce lessons learned in the classroom and allow students to flex their entrepreneurial skills. Several of these competitions, including the Botstiber Senior Design Entrepreneurship Competition, are well-suited to Drexel Engineering students.
