We look forward to the discussion with two Clinical Support Specialists from Florida Atlantic University's Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (FAU CARD). During our very first "Parent Panel," we will be discussing the
challenges and victories parents face when given a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) with mothers of children with ASD.
Our staff is also happy to welcome parent, Ms. Carol Del Sol, to participate in the discussion --- she is a Registered Nurse and will be speaking on her experience with ASD and her teenage son.
Parents will be be able to:
- Learn about the resources given by FAU Center for Autism & Related Disabilities
- Learn about resources given by Early Learning Coalition of PBC
- Listen to real-life experiences from mothers of children with different ages
- Discuss any recently received diagnosis and/or if you have any concerns
