Real Estate Happenings - April 2020
Greetings!
Hoping this finds you and your family healthy and safe!! I don’t believe I am alone in this feeling, but for me personally, I cannot wait to get released from this pandemic “house arrest” and for life to get back to something a little bit closer to “normal”. I am, however, thankful that modern technology has allowed us to continue with some aspects of normal life. We may have to be a little more creative but this quarantine would be so much worse without the connectivity of the internet, the endless entertainment supply of Netflix, and the ability for social media and ZOOM meetings to keep us in touch with and “see” our clients and friends. Let’s hope that by this time next month we return to some level of "normal."

As far as real estate goes, Pennsylvania is the most restrictive state in the nation. We are prohibited from working in person, which can make selling challenging, but I am always up for a challenge! I have been making awesome walk through videos - these are so much more than the typical virtual tour -- with my sellers help for video segments, I have been able to create videos that feel like you are actually touring the home -- all three new listings below have them -- check them out! We are also doing ZOOM showings and will be rolling out ZOOM open houses as well! Yes, sellers are listing --we are expecting a surge of buyers in the coming weeks as things begin to open up. And yes, buyers are buying without actually seeing the home! Want to know more -- reach out to me - I'd be thrilled at the personal connection right about now!

Thank you for your business, your referrals and your friendship. It is very much appreciated!
Sending you good wishes and great health,

Contingency - Buyer's Side
 (From the Ask Kathe Archives)

Is it possible to buy a new home contingent on selling our current home?
It certainly is possible to make an offer on a new home contingent on selling your current home! However, an offer with a home sale contingency is not a strong offer. You are asking the seller to stop marketing their home in the hopes that you will....
