Kudos to GGUSD Teachers & Students for Distance Learning Excellence
GGUSD teachers continue to provide engaging instruction during distance learning and students continue to exhibit perseverance and scholarly habits. This week, many schools hosted Back to School Nights to showcase classroom instruction and the academic successes of students already this school year.
GGUSD Hosts Webinar for Parents about Distance Learning Platforms
Recently, GGGUSD hosted a parent webinar about Edgenuity.

Edgenuity gives students access to high-quality online learning modules to supplement classroom instruction and help students strengthen skills in important content areas like reading and math.
Congratulations to Allen Elementary for National Blue Ribbon Award
Allen Elementary School was named a 2020 National Blue Ribbon School this week as an Exemplary High Performing School for overall academic success. This is the second time Allen Elementary School received this prestigious award given to only 367 schools across the nation. 

Exemplary High Performing Schools are recognized as among their state’s highest performing schools measured by state assessments. One of the key innovators driving success is a flexible learning environment that encourages collaboration as well as the school’s individualized homework policy which focuses on area of student need.
