Beloved of God~
For your thought during the season of Eastertide:
All who believed were together and had all things in common; they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need.
-- Acts 2:44-45

SAINT MARK'S MISSION & OUTREACH

|
Congregational Relief Fund
|
|
“Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds...
"
Hebrews 10:24
As many of you know, St. Mark’s began collecting funds for our
Congregational Relief Fund
at the beginning of this Covid-19 crisis. Since that time, we have received 19 designated gifts for a total of $4,290 for Congregational Relief. These funds are being administered through the
Rector’s Discretionary Fund
and have been used to help with monthly rent payments, utility bills, a microwave for the Westside homeless shelter and other forms of needed support in this time when some of our members are experiencing dramatic changes in their employment situations.
As we know, this crisis is ongoing and there will be many more needs that hopefully the faith community of St. Mark’s can help with as we continue to be the Body of Christ in this place.
Fr. Christopher McLaren+
Rector

Cloth masks are available free-of-charge outside the west-entrance doors to the narthex. You can pick up what you need any time.
David Hardy’s brother, Michael, owns a read-to-wear clothing manufacturing company. During the pandemic the company is making masks with their leftover fabrics. He was graciously donated many masks to St. Mark’s.
