Beginning on May 1, manufacturing employers will be required to provide face coverings to all employees who are not able to maintain a minimum of six feet of social distancing at all times. Additionally, all Illinoisans over the age of 2 years must wear masks when out in public if they cannot maintain the appropriate social distancing and face masks will be required in all indoor spaces.
In order to help Illinois manufacturers and other businesses procure the appropriate masks and personal protective equipment, the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association is creating a new Manufacturing Sourcing Center that will be available on the IMA website.
