So What's The Best Knot For Fluorocarbon?
So, what is the best knot for fluorocarbon? Sunline recommends using the Tornado HH Knot. We recommend this knot for fluorocarbon because the knot strength of the Tornado HH knot is nearly 100 % of straight strength. Meaning the knot has the same tensile strength as the line. Knots break under strain because the breaking strength of the knot is lower than the line and it breaks at the weakest point. By tying the best knot possible you are making sure that you get the maximum performance from your line at that lb test. Check out all of the details on how to tie the Tornado HH Knot here.

Wiggins Competes In First Classic
While Jordan Wiggins may not be a household name on a national level, it's likely that he has taken some of your money if you fish in the state of Alabama. Wiggins qualified for the 2021 Bassmaster Classic on Lake Ray Roberts by fishing his way through a highly competitive field on the Alabama Bass Trail, eventually winning the Bassmaster Team Championship on The Harris Chain in December of 2020. With that win Wiggins secured his spot in the Classic, fulfilling a childhood dream in the process. "Just making it to the Bassmaster Classic is a huge accomplishment, and something that has been a dream of mine since I was a kid. Being able to do it through the Alabama Bass Trail against some tough competitors, and the Bassmaster Team Championship makes the accomplishment really special," said Wiggins. While Wiggins has held his own against some of the best anglers in Alabama on a consistent basis, and can lean on his brother Jesse Wiggins (MLF Bass Pro Tour Pro) for guidance he did admit that the nerves were evident prior to the start of day one of the Bassmaster Classic. "I'm definitely a little nervous, but I think once I get out on the water and get in the groove of fishing that will go away. All of the build up and anticipation getting to this point, and then the entire week here in Ft. Worth is a lot different than anything I have experienced before. With that being said I am excited to be here, and am already thinking about how I am going to get back again." Wiggins concluded. Wiggins got off to a great start on day one of the Classic with 16-3, which had him sitting in 8th place. Day two saw Wiggin's bite fade away, as he only weighed 3-10, for a two day total of 19-13. His effort was good enough for a 30th place finish in his first Bassmaster Classic, taking home $10,000 in the process.
5. Baits Not Being Talked About
The Lucky Craft SKT Magnum 110 Mag MR offers all of the characteristics of the famed Lucky Craft SKT MR, now in an oversized package that will have monster bass drooling in anticipation. This behemoth is fitted with a precisely designed bill to produce less pull, so you can burn it back to the boat all day, without wearing out your arm. Besides being able to attract bigger fish, the 2-ounce Lucky Craft SKT Magnum 110 MR also casts extremely far, allowing anglers to cover more water with fewer casts. The tight wobbling action reaches depths of 14 ft and draws reaction bites from bass around mid-depth rock piles, ledges, and points. Non-rattling, the big profile of the Lucky Craft SKT Magnum 110 MR is easy for predators to locate in stained or muddy waters. Check out the full selection here.

Cops On The James River?
Bassmaster Opens Pro Bradley Hallman is fishing a full schedule in an attempt to qualify for the 2022 Bassmaster Elite Series. Hallman hit the James River during the recent gas shortage, which made for an interesting set of circumstances for all of the competitors. See how he made out under tough fishing conditions, cramped accommodations, and even a nightly river patrol by the local police. Check out the full video here.
