MANDATORY MEDICAL INFO & MEDICATION COLLECTION
All students must have emergency contact information, releases, and an annual physical on file prior to being permitted on campus for sports practices, orientations, and the first days of school. With several classes leaving on immediate experiences in the field this information is imperative to a successful launch of the school year.

If you have questions about procedures and packaging of medication for students during overnight trips, please contact Ann Runte, Infirmary Coordinator, at [email protected] or call her at (719) 434-3510.
RENWEB IS NOW FACTS:
OUR PARENT PORTAL
A message from Elena Hall, our new Registrar:

You should have already received your parent portal login credentials from our Admission Office. This system known to most of you as RenWeb is rebranding to the name FACTS. FACTS/RenWeb is the school-wide database through which students and parents can access and update emergency dismissal forms, manage medical forms, as well as deposit funds into your student's lunch account. Student grades, attendance and enrollment information is recorded here.

Please ensure that you update your contact information in FACTS/RenWeb, specifically your cell phone number. Parent Alerts are our mode of text communication in the event of school delays, inclement weather updates, and other emergency situations. Please also ensure that your email is correct. Emails are regularly sent by teachers through distribution lists to communicate with parents. Also, the information listed in your profile is what is used to generate the printed directory.

Lunch balances and tuition payments may be paid via FACTS/RenWeb or to Jody Welch in the Business Office . You may also pay lunch balances and submit tuition via check to Ann Runte in the Trianon.

Please contact Elena Hall if you experience any FACTS/RenWeb tech glitches or if you need your password reset. A mobile app, called Renweb Home is available for Android and Apple users and is handy for accessing the directory on-the-go.

REGISTER FOR BUS SERVICE BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 2
CSS offers one-way and round-trip bus transportation at various locations throughout the region for Kindergarten through Grade 12 students. We also offer a late bus run for 5th - 12th grade students participating in athletics or theatre programs. All drivers are tested annually on driving skills and vehicle inspection measures, as well as the importance of overall awareness of their surroundings.

Bus routes are reviewed annually. In order to determine this year's pick-up and drop-off locations there must be a minimum ridership at each location. Once we finalize the pick-up and drop-off locations, we will fine tune pick-up and drop-off times.  Locations and times are subject to change depending upon ridership. Multi-student discount of $100 per student is available if two or more students per family ride the bus.

If your family is interested in bus service, please review and complete this form and return it to Ann Runte by August 2, 2019, either in person or emailed to  [email protected].

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
CSS offers daily hot lunches, a salad bar, drink stations, a snack shack, and box lunch orders for after-school activities and away games.

Over the years, CSS has worked with multiple food vendors to manage rising food costs. Each year, CSS closely monitors the viability of a hot lunch program against operational costs, usage and the desire to offer varied and healthy entrees, as well as dietary choices. We work carefully to reduce food waste, increase the number of regular lunch buyers, and offer the value-added service of the snack shack. Please  fund your student's lunch account with the Front Desk or the Business Office prior to your student buying lunch or snacks.

  • Upper School (9th-12th): $6.90

ANNOUNCING THE 2019 FUN RUN SPIRIT SHIRT
Brand new performance Sport-Tek design! Order shirts by Wednesday, August 28.

Just a month into the school year, The Parents Association will host the totally awesome  Fun Run and  Carnival, a community-building event fueled by school spirit and parent volunteers.

You are encouraged to participate in the  Fun  Run on September 20, 2019, whether  running or walking, pushing a stroller, or encouraging the runners from the sidelines.  Fun  Run  registration is only $12.00 and includes a  Fun  Run performance Sport-Tek shirt to wear for Carnival and on Spirit Days (Fridays) throughout the year. Then families head to the Quad for food, games, and laughs. A midway experience greets Carnival goers for an afternoon of togetherness. This year, Alumni Reunion coincides with the event and all are invited to participate in this long-standing community-tradition filled with nostalgic memories.

The Fun Run is a wonderful way for community businesses to get involved, show school
spirit and participate in a healthy activity together. All funds raised from Carnival and Fun Run benefit the school in the form of future community-building events or classroom and club needs. We invite you to consider a business sponsorship and know that you are furthering the mission of connecting families and creating a dynamic and active community. Sponsorship levels are available from $300 - $1,000! This year's Fun Run & Carnival shirts will only feature business names as an advertising opportunity and will not feature individual or family names. Individual and family philanthropy or charitable giving is encouraged through the Annual Fund and year-end charitable giving.
