Family Camp Out!

Come pitch your tent at Ginty Field and enjoy the benefits of an overnight campout on Saturday, August 17th . There will be games, activities, s’mores, and a bonfire! The Campout coincides with our summer movie series showing of Spider Man Into the Spider-Verse(PG) on a Big Outdoor Screen.

Everyone attending the Family Camp-Out will have access to Ginty Pool from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Check-In at Ginty Field Gazebo will start at 5:30 PM on Saturday. Check Out will start at 8:00 AM on Sunday, with bagels and juice. There is a registration fee of $10.00 per family.

MORRIS TWP. FAMILY FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL
Be a part of the 2nd Annual Morris Twp. Food Truck Fest! The event will feature lots of food trucks and vendors, as well as games and activities for children. Whether you want to grab a quick snack or bring the whole family and stay for the live music, this event has something for everyone!

Osmose Utilities will be working on behalf of Verizon Wireless to repair poles within the Township. According to Osmose, this work does not require road closures. Company workers will park near the pole to be repaired and will walk to the repair site.

These repairs encompass almost 200+ different locations around the Township. Employees should be wearing Osmose Utility ID. Osmose is cleared by the Township to work on these poles. Please note that some poles may be in easements in the rear of properties.
Citizen Police Academy
Now accepting applications for the 2019 Citizen Police Academy. Follow the link below and submit your application by August 23rd. The academy starts on September 9th. It will run every Monday night for 10 weeks from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

The purpose of the Citizen Police Academy is to give the public a working knowledge and understanding of the operations of our police department and of law enforcement in general. Some topics of instruction will include organizational structure, use of force, drug trends and police response, arrest, search and seizure, motor vehicle stops and officer safety. A ride-along program will be implemented to allow each participant to observe patrol functions first hand.
