Sunday Live Streaming is back up and running for 
THIS SUNDAY
 
 
This past Sunday, our church's sound system, both inside the church and online, suffered an unexpected shut down. This caused All Saints not to have our microphones or speakers working inside the church, as well as our online live streaming to be without full sound capabilities. Because of that, for the first time in six months, we had no way to put our Sunday service online through our YouTube channel!  We certainly apologize for that, but we're now happy to report that we have the sound system back up & running and will be back online THIS SUNDAY, with no foreseeable issues!  

THANK YOU CARIE COMPTON (our Online "Rector"), MICHAEL MASTRONICOLA, FLORIDA SOUND, FR. DONAVAN, BILL EYLER, & L.C. WEST, for doing everything possible to sort out the problem on Sunday morning, and, when that failed to work, getting it sorted and back online again this past week.  
Onward and Upward, as they say!  Right on!
 
The Handbells are ringing again THIS SUNDAY!
 

The handbells are back THIS SUNDAY morning during the 10am Holy Eucharist!  

Many of our ringers are returning to share their music with you this Sunday, with a few changes.  Handbell music can be both festive and meditative, and we are grateful for Leslie, Jessica, Allison, Juliana, Paige, Susan, and Michael who will be returning and offering music during this weekend's 10am service.  Two of our long-time ringers will not be there:  Joanna is taking a break during this time of COVID but will be back, and Bennett has decided to take a longer break from bell ringing and pursue other volunteer opportunities. 

In order to follow Diocesan COVID-19 precautions, and keep safe social distancing, the bell ringers will be using music stands rather than the usual large tables.  This allows us to maintain greater distance, but it also means that, without the use of the tables, they will be playing music that requires only 2 bells per person, rather than changing bells throughout a particular music selection (the latter is common in more complicated music). On Sunday, the bell ringers be ringing arrangements of some familiar hymntunes, so please hum along if you recognize them!

All Saints Campus Cleanup RETURNING on Saturday, October 24th!
 

Normally, All Saints has a much needed volunteer campus clean-up right before Rally Day.  Of course, this year, because of COVID, there was no Rally Day! So, to make up for some lost time and to try and get our campus in shape for both the Bishop's Visit on October 25th and All Saints Sunday on November 1st, we're asking as many people as we can get to set aside some time for Saturday morning, October 24th for the RETURN of our much needed Campus Clean-UP!
 
Join your fellow Saints from 9-12pm that Saturday, October 24th at the church to beautify the campus! Our wonderful Sr. Warden, Garry Bragg, promises to have both donuts upon arrival and a sandwich for your departure, and our excellent Jr. Warden, Rick Alexander, will have all the mulch and supplies we need for the project.  So bring your garden gloves, hats, and any tools you'd like to use, and come help us clean up our beautiful church campus for the Fall!  RIGHT ON!
 
Donate Memorial Mums 
THIS SUNDAY for All Saints Sunday on Nov. 1st!



It has long been a tradition to read the names of those who have died over the past year during the Holy Eucharist on All Saints Sunday. This year, All Saints Sunday falls on the correct date for the Feast of All Saints, November 1st, and due to COVID-19, the reading of the names will take place inside the church at both services. Fr. Donavan will read the names at the altar just before Holy Communion, a bell will be rung, and candles will be lit for each name. 
 
You are invited to again offer special flowers and memorial mums in memory of your loved ones for All Saints Sunday. This year, all the beautiful flowers will be placed inside the church around the altar for our All Saints services, and the names of those for which the flowers were given will be listed in the worship bulletin and online. After the 10am service, the flowers will be moved outside to the Columbarium to beautify that holy space.  

Please use the envelopes that will be available on Sundays at the "Welcome Station" located at both entrances to the church, or you can call or stop by the church office to drop off a donation and give Molly your names.  If you make a donation with an envelope, please write the names for whom of who you are offering the flower donations LEGIBLY. 

Donations must be placed in the baskets or the church office by Sunday, October 25th.

A SOCIALLY DISTANCED Halloween Pumpkin Party is coming to All Saints!
 

Bring your youngest Saints to All Saints on Sunday, October 25th, from 5:30pm - 7pm, for a special COVID-19 edition of our annual "All Hallows Eve" Halloween Pumpkin Party!  

This year, in order to maintain safe social distancing, we will have special 'Pumpkin Stations' set up outside between the church and parish hall.  At each station, one family at a time can stop by for a pumpkin decorating competition, fun Halloween games and, this year, Spooky organ music performed by our own 'Phantom of the Opera' inside the dimly lit church!  Kids, young and old, are welcome to dress in family-friendly Halloween costumes, and the best costume for each category will receive a prize!  Oh, and there will be Trick-or-Treat candy given out at each 'Pumpkin Station.' 

Masks will, of course, be required for everyone attending the event, but it IS a Halloween Party, so masks shouldn't be a problem, right?  Plan on coming to All Saints on Sunday evening, October 25th, for our attempt to keep a bit of safe Halloween fun this tough, not-so-fun year! 
 
LET'S GET BACK TO LENDING A HAND: Food Donations for UCOM return!
 

We are back to collecting actual food items for the important work in our local community of UCOM, who are helping to feed the hungry in these trying times!   The food pantry at UCOM is presently in desperate need of almost every pantry item but especially PEANUT BUTTER, CANNED VEGETABLES, & CANNED SOUPS! 

If you are attending church again on Sunday morning, please consider bringing the above items with you and drop them in the collection barrel at the front entrance into the church!  Each week, our Outreach "Angels," Rick & Renae Johnston, will stop by to collect the donations and deliver them to UCOM. 

AND IF YOU'RE NOT ATTENDING SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP, PLEASE JUST FILL UP A SHOPPING BAG AND DROP IT OFF, MONDAY - THURSDAY, IN FRONT OF THE CHURCH OFFICE!  Molly and the staff will collect the items and make sure Rick and Renae pick them up, as well!  

Thank you for helping to feed those who are hungry in our community, and please be on the lookout in the weeks ahead for MORE OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES, including a work day in the garden in front of UCOM and our BIG FAT FALL FOOD DRIVE!!

Children ages 4-9 are invited to come and participate in Children's Chapel while their parents worship inside the church every Sunday during the 10am service! 

Ms. Hillary will have a special lesson, followed by crafts and activities, for the full hour of the church worship service, with social distancing and face masks! 

And there are NOW UP TO 18 spaces 
available each Sunday!  

All you need to do is RSVP Hillary Citrano if you'd like your child/children to attend. PLEASE RSVP BY 12PM ON SATURDAY TO ENSURE THERE ARE ENOUGH CRAFT MATERIALS FOR ALL THE CHILDREN!

At 9:50am each Sunday, the doors will open to the Parish Hall and children will have their temperature checked at the door before entering. There will be NO SNACKS, so please be sure you're not dropping off a hungry little saint.

The Bishop is Coming! 
The Bishop is Coming! 
October 25th at 10am
 

Our Bishop, the Rt. Rev. Samuel Johnson Howard, will be at All Saints for his annual Episcopal visit on Sunday, October 25th! This year, due to COVID-19, we currently have no plans for Confirmation or Reception, so Bishop Howard will have the opportunity to simply join us for worship, preach, and "visit" with us at All Saints.  After the service, we will invite the Bishop to stand outside the church to greet everyone.  And, as always, those of us who are not yet ready to attend the Sunday services will have the opportunity to watch the Bishop's visit on the All Saints YouTube page live at 10am.  Please mark your calendar and join us, either inside the church or online, in welcoming Bishop Howard back to All Saints!
 
Don't miss our Weekly Bible Study every Wednesday after the 9:30 Holy Eucharist!
 

So many of our Thursday Bible Study attendees have been looking for a way to continue the chance to read and discuss the Bible safely in these uncertain times. With the reopening of the church for worship services, Fr. Donavan and Deacon Mark are now connecting our regular Thursday Bible Study to the Wednesday morning Holy Eucharist service for those over 65 and with immunocompromised conditions. This is allowing those who come into the church for Wednesday worship to STAY in their seats immediately after the service for the Bible Study.

Deacon Mark begins this new Wednesday Bible Study every week at 10:15am, so please plan on bringing your Bible with you to the church this Wednesday to join the discussion!  And if you know someone who might not be receiving the newsletter, please pass along the good news so they can join in the Bible Study, as well!

All Saints is now open for Holy Eucharist inside the church on Sunday mornings at 8AM AND 10AM. 
And EVERYONE still has the opportunity to worship TOGETHER every Sunday at 10am through Live Streaming on the All Saints YouTube Channel.

For all services inside the church, All Saints continues to limit seating availability, to keep hand sanitizing stations in place at the main entrance and at the southside handicap-accessible entrance to the church, to make available full text bulletins to avoid use of Prayer Books, to provide music from the choir loft only, to keep offering plates stationary at each entrance, to allow the main entrance doors to the church to be open at all times, and to require masks. We also request that, other than immediate family, everyone maintain proper social distancing with their neighbors inside the church and on the church campus. Holy Communion is offered each Sunday in one kind (bread), and the clergy are working hard to ensure that communion is given safely to those who want to receive it. Finally, the church is wiped down between the two services every Sunday.  

Please remember, if you are over 65 or in anyway sick, or if you are immunocompromised by a long-term illness or medication, YOU SHOULD STAY HOME ON SUNDAYS AT THIS TIME AND WORSHIP ONLINE.

Wednesday Holy Eucharist for those OVER 65 or Immunocompromised is back! 
 

Because people over the age of 65 and people who are immunocompromised have the greatest chance of contracting COVID-19, All Saints is offering a worship service with more space for social distancing for those people only. This special Holy Eucharist is now every Wednesday at 9:30am! 

We hope this special Eucharist provides the safest possible option for All Saints parishioners who are not yet comfortable coming to church on Sunday, but would still like the opportunity to receive Holy Communion from a priest with gloves and a mask. All rules and guidelines for Sunday's still apply to anyone who comes inside the church, but we hope this will make that even easier and provide more space for sitting inside the church at a wider, safer distance from others. 'Wonderful Wednesdays' with C.R.E.W. for 6th-8th graders!
 


The All Saints CREW kids, in grades 6 - 8, are invited to come and gather for a safe, socially distanced, & fun EVERY WEDNESDAY from 6-7pm.  

We are only gathering in the Parish Hall or outside in the courtyard until further notice.  Everyone's temperatures will be taken outside the Parish Hall door before entering and parents are asked to follow the CDC guidelines regarding child/youth assessment.  Youth will not be asked to wear a mask the entire time, however, they do need to bring one for any "quiet conversation" time during our time together. The same rule applies to all adults, as well. And whenever we are closer than 6 feet, the mask will be worn at all times. Individual snacks will be given. Youth will need to bring their own water bottle. 

Our number one concern is being mindful about everyone's safety while still being able to allow the youth to gather and receive Christ-centered lessons in positive and fun ways! With all the many things going on in our world, in our country, and in everyone's hearts and minds, our hope is to facilitate a safe space that will allow our youth to get nourishment from activities, discussions, prayer and from being with each other.

SOUP READY TO SERVE! 
All Saints is Helping Those in Need
 

During these weeks of trying to stay home, All Saints Meals Ministry will be shifting from casseroles to soups, and storing up a supply of frozen soups that can be dropped off on the doorsteps of someone who is sick or in need! If you are feeling ill and need a container of homemade soup, just call the church office and leave a message or email Hillary Citrano or Lisa Alexander, and let them know. To keep safe, someone will drive the soup to your home and leave it at your front door. 

UCOM has continued and actually grown their Meals on Wheels ministry for those who are elderly and/or homebound. Contact Mtr. Lisa to find out how you or someone you care about can get on the Meals On Wheels schedule during these trying days for so many older folks.
