Summer Reading Fun Continues!
Play Book Bingo
Now through September 9

Pick up a bingo card from the library, read books that match the categories on the front of the bingo card, fill in bingo squares as you read over the summer, and turn it in to enter our FABULOUS prize drawings!
And it's not too late to come in and pick up summer reading incentive prizes that your child has earned.

Story Time with Doctor Mack!

Join Dr. Whitney Mack for a special story time! Dr. Mack recently moved to the Moab area. She works in the Family Practice at Moab Regional Health Clinic. We will have stories, crafts, and activities about exercise and movement.
KZMU Audio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5pm on Monday, August 5 for KZMU's monthly Audio Book Club!

This month we will be interviewing David Roberts author of the recently published book Escalante's Dream: On the Trail of the Spanish Discovery of the Southwest . We'll also discuss our latest bookish pursuits and upcoming local literary events.

Over lunch we'll watch a recorded webinar presented by the Immigrant Learning Center titled "Beyond Partisan: Bridging Divides Across the Immigration Debate." The webinar features experts from across the political spectrum and offers evidence based strategies for bridging divides.

Advance Directive Workshop

In case of an emergency, are your loved ones prepared to make medical decisions on your behalf? This workshop will provide information to help you understand and prepare (or revise) an advance directive for yourself or a loved one.

Volunteers Needed to Support Kids Cafe!
Starting August 15

Kids Cafe volunteers will partner with library staff and spend approximately 1.5 hours (3:15 - 4:45 PM) per day setting up, serving, and cleaning up. We would prefer volunteers who can make at least a three-month, one-day-per-week time commitment to the program. Volunteers need to be willing to complete a background check. Volunteers will not be preparing any food and a food handlers permit is NOT required.
