Sisters, it's August!
What on earth? Where has the time gone? I have no idea but time is not standing still. So, on we go!
I just wanted to share a quick word about our Overflow event we hosted last weekend. If you missed it, here is
the recording. (Actually, this is not the original recording from Saturday night. That one did not work out.)
I was so stirred up over this word and I still am, even now. I know some of you are as well, based on the conversations we've had. Good!
May it open our eyes. May it encourage us. May it convict us. And, please Lord, let it transform us!
As a bit of a follow up to that message, for this month's Scripture Reading/Writing Plan, I chose the topic, ABIDE.
Let's keep pressing in. Keep pursuing the Lord as He is constantly pursuing us. What we give away to others each day must come from the overflow of our intimacy with the Lord. But, if we are lacking there, what have we left to give away?
Sister, how full is your well?
The Father is our source of strength, provision, guidance, hope, stability, sanity and oh, so much more! Drink deeply from Him each and every day. (Again, if you are one who struggles with, "How can I," or "When would I have the time," please refer to the recording above.)
Right now, we are gearing up for a
fabulous fall! We are pressing into the Lord with more fervor, along with our church family, in this season of
Returning to Our First Love... We are excited about partnering with the Lord in serving where he leads, as many of our ministries and programs are kicking back up for the fall. We are
saying, yes, to things bigger than ourselves, realizing that where God calls us, He equips us with all that we need. In short, we are not taking a back seat. We are forging ahead with the plans and purposes of the Lord in this hour, and saying, Lord, use me!
Oh, sisters! We get to make an impact every single day. We get to love Jesus with everything we've got, and to pass that testimony onto our kids. We get to show them, our neighbors, our coworker and teammates what true lovers of God look like in this crazy world in which we live. What a day to be alive!
I love you and I long to see you flourish!
Blessings you,
Cheryl Moses
