Petition Issued in Support of Death with Dignity Law in Illinois

"Death with Dignity" laws allow mentally capable adults who are terminally ill to ask a doctor to prescribe medication that will allow them to die peacefully. Since Oregon passed the first Death with Dignity law in 1994, seven other U.S. jurisdictions have followed suit. Now, a group of Illinois attorneys is working to get a similar law passed in Illinois.

The group is asking Illinois attorneys who support a Death with Dignity law to sign a petition in favor of new legislation. To complete the petition, follow the link below.
