Trails & Vistas Art Hike

Immerse in nature and art for a magical, diverse and inspiring experience.
On September 7 & 8, Trails & Vistas presents a truly unique experience in environment through art, based out of Tahoe XC. 

This year's guided art hikes take place on a trail overlooking the clear waters of Lake Tahoe and feature award-winning musicians, dancers, poets, and installation land artists working with the theme of Blue .
2019 Artists & Performers

Enjoy music performances with guest artist Maiah Wynne, as well as s everal site-specific visual art installations featured along the trail, including artist Andres Amador; soundscape cellist Joshua McClain; and returning Tahoe favorites the Tsurunokai Taiko Drums, Angele Carroll, Lucas Arizu and Darcy Kathleen, and many more.
Themed Hikes

The first hike begins at 9:30am at Tahoe XC and small groups depart every 20 minutes. Select times are designed as family-friendly hikes, mindfulness hikes, and naturalist hikes.

The nearly 3-mile hike is easy to moderate on single-track dirt trails, with art sites along the way and some inclines to reach the top of the mountain and the stunning views of Lake Tahoe.
