Come learn more about our new Quran and Islamic Studies program on April 20th, 2019!

Please join us for an informational meeting on Friday 3/1 6:30-7:30 to learn more about the program, meet the teachers, and register your children. Seats are limited and priority will be given to students already enrolled in the Friday night AQL program (please note, the AQL program will be rolled into Ijaza program and AQL will cease to exist).

FVAMC is starting an intensive Quran and Islamic studies program for boys and girls 6 years of age and older. All students will start in Level I in which they will:

  •  learn to read and write Quranic Arabic with Tajweed fluently
  •  memorize the 30th Juzu (Amma) of the Quran
  •  study Aqida (Islamic creed/dogma), Akhlaq (Islamic etiquettes and ethical code of conduct) through the study and memorization of the forty hadiths of al-nawawi, applied Fiqu-ul-Ibadat (rules and regulations governing worship rituals), and the seerah (biography) of the prophet (SA).

Talented students will be invited to join the team aspiring to memorize the entire Quran.

The first class will be held on Monday March 4, 2019.

The program will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 5-7pm.

  • This is a self-paced program in which students can learn at their own pace, but they are expected to attend at least twice/week.

  • Four teachers have been assigned to the program. The Quran/Arabic class is led by a Hafiza who has Ijaza in the ten different recitations of the Quran.
