Investigating Plant Science
For the past 25 years, Qubit has provided the plant science community with dependable instrumentation that matches or exceeds the specifications of instruments from our more expensive competitors. I f you are not using Qubit Systems' equipment, it is likely that you are paying far more than you need for your research and teaching requirements.
Featured Products
PlantPens and SpectraPens
Measure plant reflective indices (NDVI, PRI etc.) with inexpensive handheld instruments manufactured by our European partners Photon Systems Instruments. Our FluorPen allows full chlorophyll fluorescence quenching analysis. SpectraPens are compact spectroradiometers for monitoring spectral quality and irradiance. The LAIPen monitors leaf area index in the field.

Q-Box Plant CO 2 Analysis Package
Measure photosynthesis, photorespiration, transpiration, root and shoot respiration. Includes high resolution NDIR CO 2 analyzer, temperature/RH analyzer; LED light source calibrated in the software; mass flow monitor, leaf thermistor. Optional battery pack; optional 4 and 8 channel multiplexers. Includes software and interface. Field portable and robust. Read more HERE.

Gas Control and Analysis
Qubit's analyzers for CO 2 , O 2 , CH 4 etc. can be used for accurate monitoring of gas levels and exchange rates, and for control of concentrations in various environments (gas and liquid phase). Programmable systems allow you to specify all control parameters. Read m ore HERE.
Automated Plant Phenotyping
From small scale lab systems to large scale cultivation halls equipped with imaging arrays for RGB, chlorophyll fluorescence, VNIR and SWIR hyperspec, thermal and LIDAR, we offer the world's most comprehensive high throughput phenotyping systems for both shoot and root imaging. Lab and field systems customized to your exact requirements. Read more HERE .
Algae are Plants Too!
Photobioreactors and Multicultivators allow precise cultivation of algae, cyanobacteria and plant cell cultures. Control functions regulate LED lighting (intensity and spectrum) , temperature, dissolved gas composition, pH and optical density. Chlorophyll fluorescence and gas exchange rates may be monitored. Cultivate in small benchtop units (400mL) or large floor units up to 100L. Grow and monitor multiple cultures in photobioreactors linked in a series or with the multiculitvator (up to 8 cultures at one time). Read more HERE.
What our Clients say about Qubit Systems........
I have found the people at Qubit Systems to be an extremely valuable resource. They have provided the best service that I have ever received from a company.
Dr. Diane Robertson, Dept. Biology, Grinell College Iowa
I received outstanding service during all phases of purchase: conception, ordering, installation and continuing help.
Dr. Bill Shipley. Departement de Biologie, Universite de Sherbrooke
The quality of their systems is equally matched by the service that they provide. Qubit offers the absolute best service and support of any company that I have encountered.
