Creating a New Center for Rural Health Service, Innovation and Learning

Last week, Rural Health Network announced the kick-off of a public appeal for support of it's Capital Campaign. The Network is seeking support for the purchase and renovation of the building that serves as the agency headquarters at 455 Court Street, in Binghamton.

"This new home will allow us to realize our vision of a facility that is a regional center for rural health service, innovation, and learning" said Executive Director Jack Salo.
"Since Rural Health Network was formed in 1998, we have demonstrated a strong focus on our mission to advance the health and well-being of rural people and communities. During that time we have impacted the lives of thousands of residents throughout South Central New York. This location provides a facility from which the highest level of service can be provided throughout the region and improves operating efficiencies."

Renovation plans were unveiled which include a vistor and conference area, accessible parking and restroom, and a training and learning conference center equipped with modern communications and learning technology.

The Rural Health Network has already reached 40% of the goal to raise a total of $525,000.

Please consider making a personal gift to our campaign. We would also welcome volunteer support - perhaps you belong to a service club, civic group, or faith-based organization that might support our mission; perhaps your workplace has a dress-down day for charity; perhaps you'd like to host a fundraiser. Share your ideas by contacting Cindy Martin, Director of Resource Development.

Rural Health Network is excited to announce the launch of a new website. Our request for proposals indicated we wanted a site that was "visually appealing with a clean look and a mix of text and graphics". Our friends at Idea Kraft were able to deliver exactly what we hoped for.
