Project Muse is an electronic database containing full-text for over 700 journals and 1200 e-books. Subjects covered include the social sciences, literature, history, education, political science and more.

How to access: if you're using the RHEC network, via wired connection or wi-fi, you automatically have access. E-books may be accessed from anywhere, however journals must be accessed while connected to the RHEC network.

Author Event in Roanoke

Local author Beth Macy will discuss her book Dopesick: Dealers, Doctors, and the Drug Company that Addicted America on Thursday, August 8th at 7:00 PM at Community High School. A New York Times bestseller, Dopesick investigates the devastating opioid epidemic in America.
