With virtual interviews becoming the new normal, now is a great time to learn this essential career skill with a focus on phone and video conference formats. This webinar will cover universal tips for interview preparation, with an emphasis on how to succeed in a virtual setting and at different stages of the interview.

Expect to also cover some possible answers to frequently asked interview questions that only mothers may get. You will also learn how to use the S-T-A-R format to answer competency based quesitons.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:

SHER-LI TORREY is the founder & director of Mums@Work (Singapore), which was started in 2010. Trained in various personality profiling tools, she has more than 20 years of corporate experience. Formerly heading the postgraduate team at the Office of Career Services at the Singapore Management University (SMU), she has held various roles in different industries. In 2010, following the birth of her daughter, Sher-li started Mums@Work (Singapore) – a social enterprise that supports women. As a trainer career coach, Sher-li has been delivering Career workshops for WSG, NTUC and other Career Services providers for more than 9 years. Her specialty is in the areas of Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills and Job Search skills. Her main focus is to always conduct career training that are ‘employer-led’ – using specific tools that help candidates to craft resumes, interview pitches and other job search processes that match what employers truly want.


GRACE CHUA leads Google's workplace and Google.org PR efforts on the Corporate Communications team. She currently manages external communications related to workplace and culture, as well as philanthropic efforts across Asia Pacific. Prior to Google, Grace drove marketing and communications efforts for global brands including Uber, Experian and Harper’s BAZAAR.
