A MESSAGE FROM MR. AIKEN
Dear Eden families,
We are thankful for our strong partnership with you and we want to express our gratitude for the confidence you have placed in Eden Christian Academy.
Your child’s academic success and spiritual growth is our highest priority.
At the end of January, each family received an electronic re-enrollment packet for the 2019-2020 school year. As you review the information and prayerfully consider your decision, I’d like to present three school attributes that differentiate Eden from other educational choices.
Eden is a Christian school.
We bring
Christ and the truth of the Scriptures into everything we do
. We genuinely pursue growing closer to Jesus Christ and we have that same desire for your child. Biblical integration in every class, as well as daily Bible classes, weekly chapels, community service, and mission outreach provide students with relevant opportunities to directly apply the truths they learn and live out their faith in Christ. Faith and learning go hand-in-hand at Eden as each child moves on their journey to their God-directed future.
Eden is dedicated to excellence in academics.
A founding principle at Eden is our
commitment to provide an outstanding education to every student
. Each discipline is continually developed to enrich the depth of course offerings and to include Advanced Placement and College in High School course electives. Technology is utilized as a resource to improve student learning. Eden’s faculty is committed to professionalism in the classroom and to God’s best for each child. We work to prepare students for college and the workplace by teaching life skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and perseverance.
Eden encourages student engagement.
From clubs and organizations, to the arts and athletics –
students are encouraged to participate and enrich their educational experience
. Especially in middle and high school, we have seen that students who are actively involved have a greatly enhanced school experience and gain the most in return. And, along the journey, they develop relationships and make memories. As an example, students in the Class of 2018 were connected in the National Honor Society, student council, musicals, robotics, mock trial, and athletics. And, reports from their first semester of college are extremely favorable from spiritual, academic preparedness, and social acclimation perspectives.
This truly embodies our aspiration for all our students:
a Christ-centered, full, and engaged school experience that translates to their early success at the next level.
On behalf of the faculty and staff at Eden,
we are extremely thankful for the privilege of educating, training, mentoring, and ministering to your child
. We recognize the significant financial commitment you have made and are grateful for the value you have placed on their education. Thank you for entrusting us with your children.
Sincerely in Christ,
Todd Aiken
Chief Academic Officer and Upper School Principal

A MESSAGE FROM MRS. POWERS
Dear Parents,
Last week's
Spiritual Enrichment activities were truly meaningful
to our students and staff members.
Please take a moment to
read just one of the many powerful stories
from the week’s activities.
“This week, we read Psalm 139:14 and talked about how God made every one of us wonderfully complex! Each student placed their fingerprint on paper heart to demonstrate their uniqueness. Today, students identified and wrote a personal sin on that heart, then tore the heart in half to demonstrate how our sin separates us from God. We put our “broken hearts” on a cross as we listened to the song "The Maker."
Three students said "yes" to Jesus and accepted His gift of salvation. What a beautiful time in His presence; what a special celebration today!
”
On Friday, Winter Olympics brought Berkeley Hills and Wexford
students together for a day of fun activities that each started with a Bible verse
and group discussion. What a great time as students practiced
collaboration, team-building, encouragement, and sportsmanship
!
Special thanks to parent volunteers
who helped throughout the day!
Yours in Christ,
Carrie A. Powers
Wexford Campus Principal
