Meyers strengthens its sustainability leadership with SGP certification
In June 2021, Meyers Printing Companies, Inc. achieved SGP certification for its Minneapolis, MN facility.

“Meyers believes in integrity and an important part of this is our environmental compliance and stewardship," said Chris Dillion, President at Meyers. "Integrity is a central part of who we are. Platinum patron spotlight: Tesa Tape

Every year, tesa develops hundreds of new products & adhesive solutions for many industrial companies & consumers. Tesa's 500 developers & many more of the 4,700 employees think about the contributions tesa can make to reducing the impact of their business activities on the environment as much as possible. But there's more: Tesa products should increasingly make a contribution to relieving the strain on the environment. 
 
SGP grows with PIASC as a Resource Partner
Printing Industries Association Inc. of Southern California (PIASC), has joined the SGP community as a Resource Partner.

“Most of our members are concerned with our environment. SGP is more than a certification; it is a way of life. As a Resource Partner, PIASC can help our members who are looking into SGP certification,” said Lou Caron, PIASC president/CEO. “We also want to advocate this sustainable mission and promote certification to our members."

SGP looking for beta sites

In April 2021, SGP announced a pilot project to expand its certification program beyond North America. SGP has been successfully holding all audits virtually for more than a year. This method, in combination with the SGP Impact Tracker, allows expansion of the certification program for printers and industry suppliers worldwide. Read more

Nominate a Sustainability Champion
The SGP Sustainability Champion quarterly award recognizes an SGP Community Member for efforts in making the environment a better place to work and live in. An SGP Sustainability Champion leads by example & shows passion through leadership, activities, environmental stewardship & activism.

For this quarter, nominations must be received by August 31, 2021. The winner announced October 15, 2021. Learn more
