On August 6, I will journey aboard the
Ocean Endeavour from Qausuittuq (Resolute Bay), Nunavut to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. I will be visiting the Arctic at the height of summer!
I will explore Tallurutiup Imanga marine protected area and visit the Franklin graves on Beechey Island. Ilulissat Icefjord is home to, the fastest-moving glacier in the world, and with the current heat wave in Europe they are saying that we may see some ice melt.
I will not likely be able to post up to date photos of my journey, but will certainly get them up on our facebook page once I return.
