2020 Census Jobs Available
The U.S. Census Bureau is recruiting!
Every 10 years since 1790, the United States has undertaken the momentous task of counting all of its residents.
For the 2020 Census, the Bureau is offering
a variety of temporary jobs, including census takers, recruiting assistants, office staff, and supervisory staff.
The results of this census will help determine our state's representation in Congress, influence legislation, and ensure an
equitable distribution
of more than $675 billion in federal funds, grants, and support to states. These funds and grants are then used for our schools, hospitals, roads, and more, so they may properly serve every last member of our community.

This month's question --
How many professional sports teams play their home games in White Plains? And can you name them?
All winners will receive
a FREE Business Improvement District Shop White Plains Discount Card
-- to save at stores all over town.
Five readers answered last month's question correctly --
what is the significance of each of the three dates on the Official White Plains City Seal . . . 1683, 1776 and 1915?
Figured it out yet? White Plains was founded in 1683. The Battle of White Plains took place in 1776, and White Plains became a city in 1915.
