Back to School Worship Service
Join other schools and educators in the LCMS Northern Illinois District for a back to school worship service and keynote.

Director of Operations, St. John's, Lombard
St. John’s Lutheran Church, 215 S Lincoln St., Lombard, is seeking a Director of Operations for Church/School (part-time). Under the direction of the Senior Pastor, the Director is responsible for day-to-day operations and management of the administrative, facility, finance, human resources, purchasing and technology systems of the church and school. He/she will build on a good foundation of processes and procedures.

Requirements include: Strong Christian ties; Bachelor’s degree with a preferred course of study in a business-related discipline; excellent project management, organizational, and people skills; and a track-record of accomplishments gained working in an Operations leadership position. Voice of Care Seeks Executive Director, 48 to 60 hours per month. Active LCMS members in good standing can be considered. Executive nonprofit or corporate leadership experience is a plus. Ordained and commissioned church workers with executive leadership and financial experience are also invited to apply. Position requires the ability to carry the Voice of Care vision to congregations and potential donors. The Executive Director works with staff to make and oversee the execution of an annual action plan within the budgetary constraints set forth by the Board. Chief among requirements is the ability to consistently uphold the values expressed in Voice of Care’s mission to equip churches to reach and serve people with disabilities, and their caregivers. Part-Time Ministry Facilitator, Voice of Care
Voice of Care Seeks Part-Time Ministry Facilitator, 60 hours per month. Active LCMS members in good standing can be considered. This is an ideal position for a person with experience in special education, social work, counseling, or experiences among people with disabilities. Ordained and commissioned church workers are also invited to apply. Work requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to consistently uphold the values expressed in Voice of Care’s mission to equip churches to reach and serve people with disabilities, and their caregivers.
