Ministry of Office Manager/Treasurer
Responsibilities:
-Able to relate to people and complete responsibilities with a positive Christian attitude.
-Support Pastor to meet the needs of the church and its members.
-Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to help with tasks as necessary
-Maintain confidentiality of individual's needs and church records.
Duties:
-
General office management
-Prepare and edit Sunday and Special Bulletins
-Organize content and prepare monthly and weekly Launch Pads and
Power Points (church newsletters)
-Manage church bank accounts
-Presently 12 accounts managed with Quicken software
-Prepare and manage budget with Finance Committee
-Keep committees informed of their financial status
-Balance all bank accounts monthly
-Manage church finances
-Prepare reports for payroll company
-Pay church related bills
-Prepare year end district and conference reports
-Oversee calendar and coordinate schedule of events
-Train and supervise volunteer receptionists during office hours
-Attend church committee meetings and take minutes when required
-Maintain church files
-Willing to learn computer software, including to use of Quicken, Microsoft
Word, Publisher, Excel, and Church Trak
-Maintain office area in a presentable, professional manner
-Other duties as assigned by Pastor or Staff Parish Relations Committee
Hours and Compensation
-20 hours per week @ $12,650 per year
Work week: Monday through Friday from 9am to 1 pm
-Eight days of vacation after three months of employment
-9 paid holidays
