Lots of summer activities at your library!
June 2018 library news
Summer started with a bang here in Mercer... Most of us don't remember too many 90 degree days in May! We're gearing up for a busy season here at the library, with weekly programs for kids, lots of fantastic authors scheduled, and much more.

We also want to send a big thank you to all of you who have already donated to our annual Friends of the Library membership drive. We've had a great response so far, and we really appreciate your support. Your contributions provide most of our summer programming and improvements to the library. If you haven't renewed your Friends membership yet, visit our website to learn more.

Read on for more information on some of the many events planned for June. And don't forget to visit us to borrow books, movies, board games, our telescope, activity kits for kids, and more. If we don't have what you're looking for, ask us - we're happy to help track it down at one of our member libraries!

Keep cool and have fun this summer --

Explore Southeast Asian Cooking

Love to cook? Join us and take your taste buds on a culinary Southeast Asian journey at 12:00pm on June 25. We promise to skip the unusual deep fried spiders of Cambodia and snake of Vietnam. There is no cost for the program, but donations are welcome. Space is very limited so you must register in advance by calling the library at 715-476-2366.
