As we anticipate summer's transition into fall, we also mark a season of change at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. We bid a fond farewell to Joachim Homann, who will conclude nine years of service at the Museum of Art as he heads to the Harvard Art Museum to become the Maida and George Abrams Curator of Drawings. At the same time, we are delighted to welcome back to the Museum of Art Elizabeth Humphrey '14, a Bowdoin alumna, who will serve as our new Curatorial Assistant and Manager of Student Programs. As always, we salute and thank the remarkable interns who have welcomed numerous visitors to the Museum and whose research will lead to new exhibitions and to new strategies for connecting with our audiences. August opens with an exciting opportunity to hear a performance of Listening Glass- installed in the Walker Art Gallery with the drawing Let's Get Lost- by collaborating artists. The innovating event promises to be a thrilling culmination of this exciting artistic project. We invite you to savor  Suspense continue to enjoy Art Purposes, and look forward to the wonderful gallery presentations that lie ahead.
