Welcome to Noel's Newest Members
|
A big thank you to Noel and the Shreveport/Bossier Community for gathering in Noel's Lane Chapel in June for a Service of Solidarity on behalf of those suffering along the US/Mexico border. Four large boxes of hygiene supplies were collected and sent to shelters in Nogales, AZ/Mexico for asylum seekers, a large stack of letters was sent to representatives, and time was spent together in prayer. We're grateful for our community and its heart for the plight of migrants and refugees.

Noel Outreach Opportunity with Creswell Elementary
|
INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Thursday, August 1, 5:30pm
Noel's Parlor
I
t's BACK TO SCHOOL FOR VOLUNTEERS!
Noel continues to reach out to the neighborhood through volunteering at Creswell Elementary this coming year.
The question is..."HOW CAN YOU BE A PART OF THIS NEW OUTREACH OPPORTUNITY?"
Funny you should ask! Do you have an hour a week, or even an hour twice a month to give needed support, love and guidance to some students? Volunteers are needed to read to students, tutor students from K-5th grade in reading and math, mentor students, and prepare food backpacks for those in need. There is an informational meeting on Thursday, August 1, 5:30pm, in Noel's Parlor, so give it some prayerful thought! If you are interested and would like to know more, contact Linda Perkins at 518-3422. Have a friend you think might be interested? Spread the word! Let us hear from you soon!
