  • 3/3: Liturgy of the Table
  • 3/10: How Does St. John’s Express Its Episcopal Identity in the Liturgy?
The Wednesday Night Book Club will meet February 20 th at 6:15pm in Room 204/5.  We will be discussing Educated by Tara Westover.

The Wednesday Night Book Club is open to anyone. It doesn’t matter if you are a newcomer to book clubs, or involved in several others, you are most certainly invited and encouraged to join us. And if you cannot join us this time, we hope you will keep an eye out for our next session!
The ECW Bake and Craft Sale in December was a great success! Thank you to the donors, buyers and especially the volunteers! We made $3000, which will go to Outreach and Inreach needs. Thank you so much.
Attention men of St. John’s! St. Martin’s has planned a retreat for the men of their parish and graciously invited the men of St. John’s to join them at Valle Crucis, April 5-7. To learn more, go to the following link at St. Martin’s for registration information and itinerary, click on the link below. Peace, Brad+
Please remember to bring in food to fill the little red wagon. Our donations to the pantry at Galilee are so appreciated and needed. Especially needed is canned fruit, canned collard & turnip greens, canned salmon, diapers, and hygiene products. Thank you!
HAGAR’S BASKET LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR!
We greatly appreciate and continue to need your generous monetary contributions and your donated items so we can keep our pantry running. We are aways excited to welcome new volunteers to staff the pantry.  As we prepare for our families to visit us this week, we need to stock our shelves with laundry detergent, size 3-6 diapers, wipes, feminine hygiene pads, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, disposable razors, and shaving cream.  Heartfelt thanks!
Worship at St. John’s is at the core of our life together. As such, St. John’s offers a variety of worship services at different times from Saturday evening through Sunday morning. For some time now St. John’s has been considering the times of our worship services. As we continue this effort, I thought it would be useful to conduct a short survey as one of many sources of information to help the leadership of our congregation determine how to move forward. To take the survey, please click the link below. A paper version of this survey is also available in the breezeway area just outside the welcome center. Please know your presence with us in worship is deeply valued. I hope you will keep St. John’s in your prayers as we move forward in addressing an area that is at the heart of our church family.

Faithfully, The Rev. Peter M. Floyd
