Flemington Community Partnership Announces 2019 Board Leadership
FLEMINGTON, N.J. January 31, 2019— The Flemington Community Partnership, the nonprofit business improvement district for Flemington, New Jersey, announces the results of its recent board elections for officers and directors.

Re-elected to officer positions are Bob King, Chair; Phil Koury, Vice Chair; Matt McPherson, Treasurer; and Tim Bebout, Secretary. Elected to serve as a Board Member is Bonnie Duncan. Susan Peterson was appointed by Flemington Borough Council to the role of Borough Liaison.

Bob King, Chair, is the co-owner of Lone Eagle Brewing, one of the region’s most popular craft breweries. Prior to Mr. King spent over 31 years in senior engineering and IT roles with AT&T/Lucent/Alcatel-Lucent and Merck before venturing into the craft beer start-up business. Mr. King also provides software consulting and development for a range of clients.

Phil Koury, Vice Chair and Chair of FCP’s Marketing Committee, is the co-owner/operator of McDonald’s of Flemington, Clinton, Washington and Lake Hopatcong, N.J. A Hunterdon County resident since 1990, Mr. Koury is an active Member of Franklin Township Committee, McDonald’s National Advertising Council, and the NY Metro McDonald’s Board of Directors.

Matt McPherson, Treasurer, is the owner and chef of the famed Matt’s Red Rooster Grill . A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Mr. McPherson also serves as a food service consultant, sits on the board of the Polytech Culinary Arts Program, and is an active member of the Flemington Raritan Business Association.

Tim Bebout, Secretary and co-chair of FCP’s Visual Improvements Committee, co-owns Main Street Manor B&B. Prior to opening his bed and breakfast, Mr. Bebout, a U.S. Navy veteran, spent over 20 years in the commercial insurance specialty products, specializing in customer research, marketing, underwriting and engineering.

Bonnie Duncan, FCP’s newest board member, has served as CEO of the United Way of Hunterdon County for over 21 years. Ms. Duncan has previously served on the board of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Foundation.

Susan Peterson, who was appointed by Borough Council to the role of Borough Liaison to the FCP, is the owner of Teaberry's Tea Room, a Flemington destination for over 15 years. A resident of Flemington, Ms. Peterson is serving her third year on Borough Council. In addition to serving as Borough Liaison to the FCP, Ms. Peterson serves on Borough f inance, Agway redevelopment, administration, opportunity zone, streetscape, code and zoning, and courts committees.
