October 2020
"There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

- Ephesians 4:4-6
Looking at that beautiful aerial photo of our campus reminds us to put things in perspective. It’s a BIG picture! When things seem overwhelming, we need to look up and remember that God is in control, and that He is over all and through all and in all.

Last month, our beloved President Ferry shared that he will be retiring at the end of June. He has faithfully served Concordia for 30 years as our visionary “big picture” leader with an incredibly humble servant heart. Our focus is on the future and as we prepare the way forward, we can be reassured that the Lord, who has blessed Concordia, is our hope for years to come.

With that inspiring promise, we confidently step into our future with the One who is faithful and in control; and together we build each other up as we remain one in The Spirit. We are Concordia – literally, of one heart!
Leaving a legacy
Annually, members of the Concordia family (alumni, friends, faculty) have made the decision to include the university in their will. We extend our gratitude to those who have remembered Concordia in their estate plans. On occasion, we receive estate gifts that we did not know were coming. These are wonderful surprises indeed, but we would love to thank our benefactors while they are still living. If you have us in your estate plans, THANK YOU, and please let us know.
