The bars on these graphs show the historic yield (light color) and 2020 yield (dark color) at the corn grain sites that have been harvested. Missouri has had high yields compared to historic averages. In Illinois and the Mid-Atlantic, good rainfall in the first half of the growing season helped yields even when August dried out. Northeast Nebraska and northern Iowa were affected by a more severe drought.
