President's Message:
Looking forward after a successful academic year

With the completion of another academic year and summer beginning, I hope you will take a moment to reflect on your accomplishments for the year and take this time as an opportunity to chart your future goals.

The accomplishments of our members in the last 12 months have been amazing. BMES members have: Won prestigious grants, become fellows at top organizations, published ground-breaking research and much more [. Of course, I also want to congratulate our student members who have completed their degrees and are moving on to the next stage of their career - I hope you stay connected and a member of BMES.


Annual Meeting: Registration now open for Philadelphia meeting

Registration is now open for the 2019 BMES Annual Meeting: Philadelphia. 

The meeting will be held October 16-19 and will feature hundreds of research presentations, exceptional keynote addresses and dozens of career enhancement seminars.

Early-bird registration discounts are available until September 4.

Jay Goldberg elected to the National Academy of Inventors

Jay Goldberg, clinical professor of biomedical engineering and director of the Healthcare Technologies Management program at Marquette University and the Medical College of Wisconsin, was elected fellow of the National Academy of Inventors.
