New COVID-19 Restrictions Announced
for Toronto, Ottawa, and Peel

October 9, 2020

New restrictions in COVID hotspots have been announced effective at midnight. We are waiting on legislation to be clear on actual details and impact, however here is the release from the Ontario government.
 
Highlights of the impact for our clubs in Toronto, Ottawa, & Peel, as we understand it, are:
  • No indoor dining for food & beverage services.
  • No team sailing competitions. Training is allowed however we strongly encourage physical distancing.
  • Events, meetings & instruction are each limited to 10 people indoors and 25 outdoors with space for physical distancing - this does not refer to work activities but social and sport events.
