Be there, you know you need it!
* Learn the rules of doubles squash and start the process to becoming a certified referee.
* Cost is $10.00 which includes coffee and muffins, rule book, guidelines and some referee tips.
* There will be a powerpoint presentation with lots of discussion and questions.
* A written exam will be completed by all participants and reviewed at the clinic - everyone passes!
* Once one completes the clinic and exam, the participant will become a certified provincial referee after passing a practical test by refereeing a league or tournament match with a National Referee assessing the participant. A pass will be achieved if the participant applies the rules consistently and is able to make 10 correct calls and keep proper score.

2017 Scottish Junior Open
British Columbia Players Shine!
4 BC in players are in the finals at the Scottish Junior Open!!
 
* GU13:  Alexandra Brown came back from a 0-2 deficit to beat the #2 seed from England in the semi finals. She will play the #1 seed, who is ranked #3 in England, in the GU13 final on Monday.
 
* GU17:  Cynthia Cao is undefeated through 4 matches in the round robin portion of the GU15 draw, including a 3-0 win over the #1 seed. She will face the #2 seed in the final on Monday.  Brooke Herring from SMUS in Victoria is in the 3/4 playoff.
 
* GU19: Grace Thomas also came back from 0-2 down to win today and secure her place in the GU19 final.
 
* BU17: Sam Scivier knocked out two seeded players from Luxembourg and Wales on day 1, and then a couple of Scotland's top juniors (the #2 and #3 seeds) today in couple of tough battles to book his place in Monday's BU17 final.

The event has now finished.  Egypt dominated the finals as expected but two categories did NOT feature any Egyptians (boys U13 and boys U19)
