VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Do you need a few service hours? Can you fit in a few hours during the school day?
Ms. KC is looking for someone to inventory all our athletic uniforms, and equipment, and clean out and organize the athletic storage room.
This project does not need to be done all at once, can be spread over a few days, whatever works.

If you have some good organizational skills, and have the patience to inventory shorts & jerseys, give Ms. KC a call or email her. Office: 545-0379 / email: k_paul@sonic.net
A Note from Mrs. Ryan

Dear Parents,

Last weekend’s Crab Feed was a huge success, both in fun-raising and in fund-raising. I am so appreciative of Lisa Piehl and all of her helpers who made the event happen. Fr. Michaelraj and I are both grateful to all of you who donated to the event and all of you who bid on the great auction packages that were available.

Each year, there is a special project that is highlighted at the Crab Feed called Raise Your Paddle.
For the past two years we have focused on the arts by working to upgrade the sound and stage lighting systems in the gym.  PCD Audio and Visual Integration Systems has designed a new system which will meet all of our needs for many years to come. The highlights include a portable sound
and light control board, Tectonic Flat Panel speakers with Bose subs, a permanently mounted laser projection system, twelve wireless microphones with body packs, and a DMX lighting system.  Whether it is acting in the school play or Christmas Pageant, singing in the choir, playing in the band, or reading at Mass, this state-of-the-art system will allow all of our student performers to showcase their talents with pride. In addition, the substantial upgrade will improve communication during parent events such as the Crab Feed, Family Bingo Nights, Moms’ and Dads’ Club functions, and Back to School Night.

This high-quality system is expensive, $172.000. The Parent Association and school have come close to meeting the goal of raising the first $75.000 and I am hoping that those of you who did not have the opportunity to contribute at the Crab Feed will help get us over the top. I am reaching out to our major donors and benefactors for the rest. If all goes well, we can have the new system installed before the end of this school year in time for Move-Up Day.  If you would like to help us with this worthy project, simply drop-off a check in the office and indicate that it is for the new sound system.  Thanks so much for your consideration.

Sincerely,
Kathy Ryan
