HOW TO CREATE A STORYTELLER SYSTEM THAT INSPIRES ACTION

What is nonprofit storytelling, what does it do and why does it matter for your nonprofit? Storytelling should be actionable-inspiring listeners or readers to take an action on your behalf. It should also make readers want to share your story with others. To help organizations better tell their story, Nonprofit Library has produced an eBook that will show you how to outline your nonprofit storytelling plan and provide prompts to help you get started.

Principles of Healthy Aging (PHA) is a one-day training session that provides insights into the unique needs of older adults when participating in recreation and leisure activities in municipal, not-for-profit and retirement communities. PHA Training will help you to 1) see increased repeat participation, 2) build healthy relationships in all areas of programming for older adults with participants and staff members and 3) gain knowledge, tips and resources to enhance programs for participants of all abilities. Sage is recruiting an Events Coordinator to work closely with their community engagement team to plan, promote, and manage key events; ensure effective communication of event-related information internally and externally; foster goodwill and partnership across senior-serving sectors; and maintain a consistent, quality experience that reinforces Sage's reputation as a reliable resource for seniors, their families, caregivers and senior-serving professionals. 

This role requires a diploma in marketing/communications, business administration, event management or other relevant discipline. This is a temporary full-time position (35 hours/week). INDIGENOUS PROJECT OFFICER

Are you passionate about Indigenous engagement? Can you train and inspire volunteers to become leaders in Indigenous reconciliation? Are you a friendly self-starter with a positive attitude? The EFCL is looking for an Indigenous Project Officer (IPO) to lead their Tipi Teachings Project. The right candidate will be responsible for the promotion, delivery and evaluation of the program, creating new learning opportunities, and engagement events and promoting other Indigenous initiatives.
