Do you know what a Confirmand Knows?
How do we talk with God? Is prayer simply asking God for something and hoping for a good outcome? We considered ACTS (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication) as a formula for prayer and wrote prayers using this format. And we offered prayers for each other. What’s it like to hear a prayer for you? Is it easier to say a prayer out loud or to write it down? Is singing also praying? And can we pray without using words? This week think about how you pray.
