Julie's Bio:

Julie Fitzpatrick is an actress/writer who grew up in Guilford and only just returned to 06437 a couple of years ago. Having graduated with her MFA from American Conservatory Theatre, Julie acted in New York City, regionally, and in TV/short film work. She is a Member of the Ensemble Studio Theatre in NYC and helped create numerous new plays there including Dido of Idaho, I Battled Lenny Ross, Anniversary, PTSD, and Sunrise in Times Square. Julie has acted with the following theater companies: Playwrights Realm, Ma-Yi, 13th Street Rep, Living Image Arts, Firework Theater, Godlight Theater Company, rUDE mECHANICALS, F*IT Club, Theatre of the Expendable and regionally with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley in California, Town Hall Theater in Vermont and Pittsburgh Public Theater in Pennsylvania. She recently wrote and performed her second solo show entitled 77 U-Turn which debuted at the Guilford Performing Arts Festival and was performed at Quinnipiac College in November. Her Film/TV work includes "Law & Order," “The OA,” "Very Sorry," "Cold Tea," and "The Share." Currently as a writer, Julie is slowly slowly slowly finishing her first book of fiction and compiling her poetry into a collection. She also is an acting coach and co-curates a play reading series locally called Let’s Read a Play in which shoreline actors read plays for audiences and discuss them in lively talkbacks. Julie lives in Guilford with her son, husband, and an empty fishbowl - sadly, their second Betta recently went to water heaven. Stay tuned for another finny arrival.
