Wheels on the Waterfront (WOW) and 4th Saturdays combine for a celebration of classic cars! Hawaiian shirt contest at 6 pm.
The Bay Gift Vault is hosting artist Rob Horsey and poet Marcus Colasurdo during the 4th Saturday Bay Stroll. Beverages and snacks will be available.
Marcus will be reading from several of his books including the soon to be published "Soulphone". Expect magic. He will also sign books.
Rob Horsey is a local artist whose paintings of the eastern shore will amaze you!
Points of Juxtaposition Art Show
The show will be open during the WOW Luau from 4 to 7 pm.

“The Waterman’s Daughter” focuses on the life of an unconventional and original woman named Lilyan Stratton Corbin, an author, actress, and philanthropist who grew up in Crisfield, MD, during the Chesapeake Bay Oyster boom in the late 1800s. The Corbin Studio & Gallery is the former Corbin Library and is home to Lilyan Stratton Corbin's remains.

Community viewing party begins at 4:30 at the former Corbin library, 4 E Main Street. Everyone is welcome to bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Edna Lockwood, Last Historic Sailing Bugeye, at Crisfield City Dock
Edna Lockwood, the last historic sailing bugeye in the world, will be visiting the Crisfield City Dock at 1201 W Main Street for the August 24 Crisfield 4th Saturday Bay Stroll, as part of a National Park Service-funded heritage tour around the Chesapeake Bay. The August 24th 4th Saturday Bay Stroll is part of the Water/Ways Smithsonian traveling exhibit programing for the J. Millard Tawes Museum. The bugeye will remain at the dock through Thursday, August 29th although visitor will only be able to board her during the August 24th 4th Saturday from 4 pm until 7 pm. During this time, CBMM staff members will offer free deck tours, giving guests a chance to explore the bugeye while she’s docked. More information on the Edna

It inspires art and music. The newest traveling exhibition from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street (MoMS) program, “Water/Ways,” examines water as an environmental necessity and an important cultural element. This 4th Saturday and student art exhibit is associated with Water/Ways, coming to the Tawes Museum on Dec 7, 2019.
Crisfield's National Hard Crab Derby is an annual Labor Day weekend event. The unique crab themed festival features crab races, crab cooking and picking contests, carnival rides, arts and crafts, vendors, live entertainment, beauty pageants, a parade, fireworks and more.

This community faith-based event will bring together citizens from Somerset County and our neighboring counties as well with experts in the field of substance abuse but will also offer singing, praise dancing, food, family, games, and prizes. The guest speaker will be Pastor Ryan Brittingham from Live Alive Church. He will speak on addiction while sharing his testimony.

A Taste of Smith Island
For the cost of $55, guests receive transportation from Crisfield to Smith Island and back via the Chelsea Lane Tyler, and a menu consisting of Smith Island favorites, including the cake of course!
