Tatiana Schlossberg a former climate writer for the New York Times and the granddaughter of John F. Kennedy was scheduled to speak today at our sold-out " Conversation About Climate " event with CNN anchor Bianna Golodryga about her new book, " Inconspicuous Consumption: The Environmental Impact You Don't Know You Have . " As a result of the coronavirus crisis, we have postponed this event until the fall, but Tatiana surprised us this week with this gracious and hopeful short message.

Charles Birnbaum , the founder and president of the Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF), in Washington, DC, has been a steadfast advisor to JHC over the past ten years. Yesterday he received one of the Garden Club of America (GCA)'s greatest honors, the Historic Preservation Medal for "outstanding work in the field of preservation and/or restoration of historic gardens or buildings of national importance."
