Cleaning Penny
Kindergarten students observe a chemical reaction as they placed old pennies in a mixture of vinegar and salt. To speed up the reaction, students used tooth brushes to scrub their pennies until they shined.
3rd and 4th grade art students decorate clay tiles with paintings of their favorite Bible stories. Earlier in the semester, students learned to mix plaster of Paris and roll it out into tile-- the very tiles they are painting.
Lessons in Apologetics
Mr. Wiley's faith and evangelism class is deeply studying various strategies in how to defend the Christian faith. Currently, students are looking at how to counter transcendental arguments that try to use the characteristics of God to disprove his existence.
